In 1979, U.S. Marine Ken Kraus was taken prisoner in Tehran and held in Evin Prison. Four decades later, in Atlanta, some of his closest friends are Iranian.

Shot observationally over 7 months in Ken's home and among the Iranian-American community of Atlanta, Daylight Under the Door moves between what happened to him in Evin and the table where he now shares meals with friends.
A younger generation, too young to remember 1979, carries it anyway.
