John Falchetto

John Falchetto is an award-winning director of photography and videojournalist with over two decades of experience capturing real stories across the globe.

As a current contributor for international news outlets, he covers breaking news, social movements, and political unrest, often working solo in high-stakes environments. He is known for his innovative use of AI-powered drones, which have transformed how aerial footage is captured in live TV and film production.
​
Alongside his field reporting, John also works as a Director of Photography on documentary series, true crime productions, and branded films. His credits include Philly Homicide (Oxygen), Top Gear Abu Dhabi (BBC), The Open Road (Nat Geo) and branded campaigns for Jaguar, Bentley, and Aston Martin.

John has worked across the globe, from filming base jumping in the Middle East largest cave to Jetman racing against the new Jaguar XJR in the desert.

John's extensive career includes work on notable projects like Deadly Waters with Captain Lee , The Delphi Murders , and Abercrombie and Fitch: The Dark Side of Cool . John recently DPed the Philly Homicide doc series which was nominated for a Critics Choice Award in 2025.
He has also contributed to the popular Top Gear series, and the CBS show Beyond the Gates as an aerial cinematographer​.

John is the CEO of Quest Films, an Atlanta based production agency that specializes in using advanced drone technology for film, TV and broadcast.

With a unique ability to move between fast-paced news environments and cinematic longform shoots, John’s work is grounded in trust, adaptability, and a deep commitment to visual storytelling. He is based in Atlanta and available for assignments across the U.S. and internationally.
