We specialise in aerial filming so we can help you through this process, these are the basic documents you need to get a permit. Keep in mind it can easily take 2 working weeks to get this permit.

1. No Objection Certificate from the commissioning client.

The letter should clearly state you are appointing us a your production company to film your project. We have a template which we can share with you to make your life easier.

2. Location List form

If you have a plot map from the owner or developer please share it.

If you don’t have a map, you can use a Google Map printout indicating the location or the area of the aerial shoot.

3. Script/Storyboard/Synopsis

The Dubai Film and TV Commission requires a script, storyboard and synopsis.

These do not have to be very elaborate but they should clearly describe where these aerial shots are going to be used and how they will be used in the final edit.

Every time we apply for a permit we pay a non-refundable AED 800 fee to the DFTC.
