Adding an aerial shot to your corporate video

Why add aerial shots to your corporate video?

There are many reasons to add aerial shots to your corporate video.

You might need to add some aerial shots of a new development, or the end of a construction project. For all these reasons and a few others we recently did a week long aerial shoot with The First Group in Dubai.

Our brief was to provide up to date aerial shots of the recent developments in their construction projects.

Quality is of the utmost importance to The First Group so we opted to fly a Red Epic with an Arri/Zeiss 18mm master prime lens. The trusted BlackArmored drone lifted and flew the camera and lens in tough weather.

In total we covered 6 different sites around Dubai Marina, TECOM, Sports City and Jumeirah Village Circle.

To avoid the high heat and humidity of September we flew only early mornings and late afternoons.

Thanks to our live feed the director could keep an eye on the shot live and give directions in real-time.

The drone allowed us to get some incredible shots of the Marina by day and by night.

Finally on the last day we setup a ground shoot where the excellent Thomas Richardson did his magic behind the camera in the chase car to film The First Group vehicles around the city.

On the final morning of the shoot we covered the Palm Jumeirah, the Atlantis, Dubai Media City, Sheikh Zayed Road, DIFC and TECOM.

Thanks everyone for making this shoot such a great and fun week.
